Five things to do this week
We know there’s a lot to take in when you start at University, so we’re keeping things simple. Each week we’ll be listing five things you should do – ranging from fantastic Leeds Welcome events to reading helpful resources – to help make your transition to University life as easy (and exciting!) as can be. Here are this week’s recommendations:
Head to the Welcome Fair.
A major part of the Welcome 2021 experience, the Welcome Fair begins today. Meet 300+ clubs and societies and grab some freebies - just check out the map above and get more details here.
Get home safely with Amber Cars.
Discover LUU’s preferred taxi company and their scheme to get you home safely at night. Plus more tips for a safe night out!
Alongside the uni, we’re asking students to take a covid test twice a week to ensure everyone’s safety on campus. They’re easy to get hold of - there’s an on-campus test centre and a spot to pick up free home tests, but you can also order them to your house or grab them at a pharmacy.
Sign up to the LUU newsletter.
Get all the good stuff going on at LUU each week direct to your inbox. We’ll pick one lucky student who subscribes this week to win one of Gear’s sell-out Millistrations Leeds prints.
